Part I: It’s All About Customer Acquisition

Your biggest challenge is starting relationships with customers. And while old-school thinkers believe that the offer and format are all that’s needed, history – including the DMA ECHO Award winners — proves that smart, strategic creative is an essential key to your success. No longer is the creative ‘wrist’ alone going to get you the customers you need! In this session you’ll see examples of what works in creative for direct mail, marketing online, in print, and even in new media. Workshop section: How are you acquiring your customers? Take advantage of optional critique; then team up with classmates to brainstorm on and share new creative strategies you’ll use to get new customers.

Part II: Building and Cultivating Relationships

This segment will show multichannel campaigns that do it all – acquire great customers and keep them coming back to you for more. You’ll find how many different kinds of approaches it takes to keep you on your customers’ radars, and how focused a campaign can and should be. You’ll also have a chance to use what you’ve learned so far to develop and share your own multichannel campaign strategy.
