Mobile phones and related wireless devices are the ideal medium for direct consumer engagement. In this session you’ll be introduced to the exciting practice of mobile marketing. Through the lens of leading case studies, we’ll detail the eight mobile channels: SMS, MMS, email, voice, content, mobile internet, Bluetooth, and applications. You’ll receive insights into getting started with mobile marketing and be introduced to leading strategies and tactics for developing mobile-enabled multi-channel and direct marketing programs.

Part II: Deconstructing the Most Successful Mobile Marketing Programs

Text and multimedia messaging, applications, mobile internet sites, and more — there is so much you can do with these channels but there are a number of moving parts to align in order to ensure you achieve your business goals. In this session we’ll review industry-leading mobile marketing case studies — mobile couponing, messaging alerts, mobile websites, applications, and more. We’ll review the results leading brands have generated with these programs and show you how they did it.

Part III: The Future of Mobile Marketing: Emerging Trends and Practices

Emerging and newly introduced technologies and business practices — location, cameras, billing solutions, broadband networks, databases, point-of-sale solutions, etc. — are already influencing the future of mobile marketing and creating new opportunities. Some, but not all, of the capabilities are viable today, but they will be before you know it. In this session we’ll look into the future and show you what is coming so that you can plan and be ready to embrace it.
